Guest management, employee safety and improved operations

Over a thousand properties worldwide have increased their operations’ efficiency using TABLETmedia’s products.

Whether it’s housekeeping, front desk, security, valet, banquet, or other groups, we integrate their needs into a single TRBOserver.

WorkSafe adds another layer of safety and accountability — it identifies exactly which employee issued a distress call, and manages radio inventory by holding staff accountable for the devices they sign in.

Many jurisdictions and the hotel industry’s “5-Star Promise” now call for panic devices for staff. TRBOaware wearable buttons meet that need — and because everything runs on the property’s own on-premise server, guest and staff data stays on site.

Capabilities deployed in the field

A sample of what hospitality customers have put to work with TABLETmedia:

We support all the major guest management platforms, including HotSOS, SynergyMMS, Alice, Qconcierge, FCS, Servidyne iTendant, IBM Maximo, Starwood StarGuest, Guestware, Angus Anywhere, HotelExpert, FCS, Royal (Fairmont), InFocus KnollWood, and others. We directly interface with many of the above using their proprietary interfaces (APIs).

The typical functions supported include:

  • User sign-in to enable users to pool the radios
  • Replying to job tickets
  • Create job tickets
  • Receive and reply to text messages

We can also handle job tickets via our browser-based job ticketing solution.

Through our telephone interconnect, we connect to the property’s VoIP telephone system to:

  • Make calls to groups and individual radios
  • Dial internal or external telephones from the radios
  • Automatically dial security or 911 in case of an emergency

The quality of telephone calls is clear and responsive, and typically telephone callers are not even aware that they are talking to someone on a PTT device.

Our server ties directly into building management software, fire panels, HVAC, video management (VMS), access control, and other sources. Notifications are then sent to:

  • Digital radios as text messages
  • Analog and digital radios as voice announcements
  • Emails and SMS
  • Telephones using text-to-speech
  • Open gates, activate sirens, or turn on other equipment

Indoors, TRBOaware pinpoints the location of staff and guests using wireless beacons — used mainly for emergencies, sending a notification with a person’s last known location the moment an alert is raised.

A property’s radio network has to keep running. TRBOmonitor adds proactive, around-the-clock diagnostics that catch repeater faults, interference, and capacity problems before they become outages — essential on any multi-site or trunked network, and what makes a radio system you can genuinely call operations-critical.
